Preheat oven to 350
Place in Bosch mixer, with dough hook:
3 cups of hot water (not any hotter than you can hold your hand in)
½ cup oil (canola oil)
½ cup honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup
1 Tbsp. Salt
1 heaping Tbsp. Lemon juice
9-10 cups ground hard white wheat or spelt flour
2 Tbsp. Saf instant Yeast
Add flour until dough pulls away from sides of bowl. Knead for 5 minutes on speed 1.
Add:
1 or 2 packages herb-flavored feta cheese
1 package defrosted spinach (blot spinach with paper towel to remove moisture)
Garlic powder to taste (don’t taste dough, but smell it to see if you have enough.)
Onion powder to taste
(These last two are my own addition.)
Knead only to mix ingredients. Make 3 loaves of bread or 3 round loaves. Rise for approximately 30 minutes, until the bread has doubled in size.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the bread reaches 180 degrees.

Yum, looks good!
ReplyDeleteAre you going to be an alto or a soprano in the chorale? I'm an alto:-P. I assume that Matt will be a bass... Jon is too:-). We haven't practiced our songs once!! *Gulp*!:-P
Well, see you NEXT WEEK!!!:-D
~Laura~
I'm a soprano. Yes, Matt is a bass. Well, at least you have 10 days left! We have practiced 3 times so far. Just to make you feel more comfortable, we counted all the chorale last week and there was 139. Now there is at least 10 more!! See you then.
ReplyDeleteHi! That bread looks really good! What is the "word verification" thing on the comment page? I've never seen something like that before.
ReplyDeleteDo you mean where you have to type out letter in a box correctly in order to send your comment? That is pretty common. As to why, I'm not sure. Maybe if a child got on then they couldn't surpass it.
ReplyDeleteIt's so spam machines can't get by, because they can't read:-P
