Bac N’ Date

1 dozen large pitted dates
¼ cup slivered almonds
4 slices of bacon

Coat broil pan with spray oil and leave out of oven while broiler is turned on. Stuff each date with 2-3 slivered almonds. Cut bacon into thirds so that you have 12 small sections. Wrap each date with a piece of bacon, and then secure each with a toothpick. Place the wrapped dates on the broiler pan and put in oven. Cook for 2 minutes then turn over for another minute or two. Serve warm.
