The First Blast of the trumpet Against The Monstrous Regiment of Women

This is a must see for everyone who thinks being feminine is just looking it or even if you don't see anything wrong with women being in authority over men! This DVD explains the problems with today's thoughts on equality and women's right to do as men do. Watch and see the disaster that us women have created by acting and believing in such a way as to destroy the very things that God puts highest of all...

'The 16th century reformer John Knox wrote his famous tract "The First Blast of the Trumpet Against the Monstrous Regiment of Women" to oppose a notorious European female tyrant who sought to stamp out biblical Christianity in his beloved Scotland. Today, the feminists are our monstrous regiment! This film calls women back to a life filled with joy and beauty that can only be found by following God's Word.'

"Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—  rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God."
1 Peter 3:3-4

"...in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve."
1 Timothy 2:9-13

"Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything."
Ephesians 5:22-24

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
2 Timothy 3:16-17

  2. Hello LC,

    Always appreciate you using Scripture.

I was actually in a blog debate a few weeks ago with a feminist (I think she is anyway, as least moderately) on an Australian site.

Now, I am no chauvinist, but I kept quoting Scripture, looked up the Greek and quoted commentaries concerning man and wife and male overseers and she would simply come up with more issues once I answered the previous ones.

In much 21st century theology reading secular philosophy into theology is a major problem, whereas Scripture should primarily develop theology.

    God bless, LC.

  3. I have had some similar conversations. It is a hard concept for people today to understand that women were not made to be leaders. That was not God's intent. I think the only way is to quote scripture. But if someone is not a Christian then there is no way they will understand this concept until they come to a saving knowledge of Christ.
Your right about secular philosophy coming into a lot of peoples theology. It should be Scripture making our theology not the world making it.

    Thanks for your comment Russ.
    Many Blessings
