Mom and Dad's 25th Anniversary

My parents went to Victoria B.C. for their 25th wedding anniversary. I think this was the first time in at least 20 years of marriage since they have gone off together for more then one night.

They're adventurs began....

They're last sight of American soil...

Yes, the three hour tour had started and no land was in sight. Save for one lone barg headed off to some foreign part.

"I see land!" Went out the cry. Victoria it be!

Dad is glad to be on solid land again...

The next day was a great day for a walk down to the beach for some exercise.

Then off to town to see the sights...

The harbor seals did different tricks for treats. This one just happened to know how to play dead by swiming up-side down.
Then off to a fish and chips shop on the bay...

Then mom found a rental place that rented out old cars...

Before dad knew it they were driving in style...

That's right a 1923 Bugatti! Besides the Volvo engine it ran great!

And mom went back in time.

Their first photo in the Bugatti. They had it for 2 hours. They went to some old book stores and browsed around Victoria. They spent 3 days there and had sunshine all the way.

Yes, that little thing was what they went over the wide open sea in.
