Philippians 1:20-21
A young Christian woman’s perspective on different aspects of life. Here is my opportunity to share with you my thoughts on the Bible, homeschooling, homemaking, femininity, government, farming, history, and so much more! In hopes to show you how intricate and amazing God’s plans for His creation truly is!

Matt was sick so it was up to Dad and I to finish the garden.
D.D.N.'s had no end that week. (a side job Matt and Dad do). While they were gone I pounded in the stakes for the fence.
Dad nailed the wire to the poles while I slipped and slided pulling the wire taut.

We got just a few plants...

We don't know what type of garlic this is, but I guess we'll find out in the Fall.
Mom found this type of onion. I have never heard of it before.
Matt and I spent - well - a lot of time separating each onion sprout.

We are still waiting for some more peppers to come in the mail.
We're going to try out some Sweet Potatoes as well!
Yes, we were in the garden WAY too long!
More photos on the way....

Freckles
By Gene Stratton Porter
Freckles, is about a young man of 18 looking for work. He’s strong, intelligent, and quick to think on his feet. Only one thing handicaps him, he is missing his right hand. He was an orphan with no name save the one the orphanage gave him, Freckles. Given a job by a Mr. McLean, manager of a large lumber company. He shows himself to be a man of honor, humility, and kindness. It has a wonderful mix of adventure, friendship, and true self-sacrifice. I have read it once and listened to it twice and still find it captivating to read.
